KURU MURU AKA KOODLE MOODLE

This is a Skaja Family Favorite. It has many variations and personal nuances. Originally designed as budget food, it has become a high ranking comfort food.

INGREDIENTS:
1 POUND GROUND BEEF
1 LARGE ONION DICED
1 LARGE CAN DICED TOMATOES
1 SMALL GREEN PEPPER CHOPPED
3/4 POUND ELBOW MACARONI
BUTTER
SALT
PEPPER


PROCESS:
Cook Macaroni in salted water until tender...drain and set aside in pot it was cooked in
Brown ground meat with butter,onion,green pepper,(salt and pepper to taste)
Add diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer
Pour this into the macaroni pot, mix and serve
Please feel free to try your own variations...but will alway be Kuru Muru. Kuru Muru was the name Nana(Helen Chmura Skaja) gave to her creation. It means nothing and needs to be pronounced with a rolling R.
