Bernard Stanley Skaja and Helen Agnes Chmura
A brief but accurate history: Bernard Stanley was born August 19, 1899 in Chicago Illinois of
Tomasz Skaja and Rosalia Schultz. He was baptized at St Hedwig Parish Chicago in 1899. He had 8 brothers and 4 sisters. Helen Agnes Chmura was born November 28, 1906 in Chicago Illinois of John Chmura and Agnes Tragarz. She was baptized 1907 at St John Cantius Parish Chicago. She has 2 brothers Francis ( Julie ) Chmura and Edward ( Lila ) Chmura and 3 sisters Mary Chmura ( John ) Rostkowski, Bernice Chmura ( Fred ) Elam and Anne Pearl Chmura ( Charles ) Okar. Bernard Stanley and Helen Agnes were Married 1927 in Chicago. Their union bore nine children
Dorothy ( Stanley) Banas, Lorraine ( Theodore ) Buenz, Bernard Stanley ( Marilyn Rutkowski ),Joseph Mitchell ( Anastasia Levadnuk ) , Thomas Jerome ( Carol Matula ), John Robert ( Barbara Marczak ), Edward James ( Irene Marczak ), Jerome Thomas, and Lawrence Joel ( Janice Mary Wojda)
